Toilet handle not level

If the syphon is acting up/return sticking etc then TBH it's time to replace it, it's worked hard all it's life and doesn't owe anyone anything. You can get replacement diaphragms and springs but TBH it isn't really worth it.

Appreciate it's a pain to replace a syphon as it's usually the cistern off and a new doughnut/plate, unless it's a 2 piece syphon but it will be worth it. .

Madrab,
I was thinking the same thing.
The bloody thing has got worse so I will change out the syphon.
Many Thanks

I presume I can just change the syphon on its own, or would I be better off buuying a whole set?
Is it better to get a single flush or dual flush (we are not on a water meter)?
Thanks

I find that most people don't bother with using a short flush for 1's and long flush for 2's. They are a great idea for water saving if people could use them properly but most don't. So i wouldn't think it really matters.

Yes, if the fill valve is ok then essentially just the syphon but if the fill valve is the same age then sometimes a double pack can be sensible and just swap both out when in there, saves any hassle later.

Get a pack where the fill valve has a brass shank.
