Hello all and thank you all for your previous advice.
Ok we have just moved (6 weeks) ago,no problems but yesterday we had the boiler inspected by the previous owners long term service company.
OH waited in and the inspecting engineer says its necessary to fit a filter and renew the watered down sentinal x10 protector.
Ok but is it necesssry, vailant boiler and complete installiton with radiators in 2002.
2 radiators moved 2017 all by the same install company &rad alteation company.
Previous owner kept all the history.

Is a filter install and protector exchange really required ?

Thanks for your time.once again.

Don't know about the filter, but I think it's well worth getting the inhibitor concentration right.

Flixitflav, thank you for the kind reply.
You have thought the x10 was renewed during 2017 rad movements.
The rads were moved to suit the oap occupier.

Ta again.

Did he test the concentration?. Filters are a good idea but certainly not a necessity

Some water would have been lost in moving the rads. Quite a lot unless as much as poss was caught and returned to the system. More inhibitor may or may not have been added.
