Tommy Robinson flees UK

On a news prog this morning they said 'Tommy, real name Stephen Yaxley-Lennon'

More of this please, much more.

Who cares if he gets or wants jury trial... I am more concerned about his victim and by the way provocation is not a defence or a reason to allow you to assault anybody ... eg.that woman that got done for throwing a milkshake at farage. In British law somebody has to assault you first before you can defend yourself...

you sure about that .

According to criminal law, self-defence is when someone counteracts an attack or POTENTIAL attack on themselves. The intension should be only to protect yourself against any harm, not to cause it.

The law does allow people to defend themselves, but you can only do what is reasonably necessary. In short, you can only use force to prevent a crime happening to you or assist an arrest.

What did he actually say in the video. Several have been posted and they are quite long and I am not going to watch them just to find one sentence. I would like to see whether he has been misquoted.
He said never been tried by a jury ----or it might of been never been convicted by a jury - you will have to listen to it to find out for sure because that PDF link you gave it seems there was some malarkey about a member of the jury not being of good character and calls cor the jury to be dismissed So maybe the jury was dismissed. ?

That is true. But merely being provoked, for instance by being taunted, is not enough. He seems to have a history of beating up drunk people:

To be more accurate, tommy said it.

Did you think you could believe him?
No not really But knowing how much he is scrutinised and fact checked I doubt he would try and get away with such an easy claim to check --- have you checked

The crimes he has been in court for, would anybody else in the country be treated the same regarding juries, or not ?

Most people never get arrested once, let alone found guilty, again and again.

knowing how much he is scrutinised and fact checked
Why do you think that is?
Regardless, you'd be more minded to keep your nose clean in that case. He's not alone on the planet, when it comes to trumpeting ones presence.

Don't know what you are talking about - we are trying to find out if he has ever been convicted by a jury.
