Tongue and groove around corner bath

Has anyone replaced a bath panel on a corner bath with tongue and groove ?
Is so is it very difficult?

Sounds interesting, is it hard to work with ?

if you use pine you need to select planks that are cupped in the correct direction as much as possible and chamfer the tongues so they dont snap off as most will do on any curve
you also need to accurately replicate the path off the bath lip via a frame on the floor as any discrepancies will cause great problems with planks starting to lean because the distance covered will be different top and bottom
if you planks are flat you need a spacer to stop the nails going fully home and leaving each end 2-3mm floating otherwise when you fire/knock the pin in it can dammage the previous joint

the trouble you have with plastic when you try to bend it the back wall can concertina on one or more sections and you then get a crease at the front where it changes angles

That’s why you rip the back cells so it’s only a thin sheet to bend.

indeed but better to cut perhaps every third or fourth to give a gradual angle change as if you cut too many there is little or no resistance to folding near to flat causing a virtually uncontrolled reduction in outer surface form ??

I cut every one , no problem, still plenty of resistance.
