I need to fit a towel warmer in a bathroom within zone 2! It will be wired as part of the ring final circuit. How are these electyric towel warmers usually switched on and off as Ive never fitted one before? Is there usually a timer on them or an insulated on off switch??????
Any advice would be appreciated!

Cheers!

Normal practice seems to be to install an FCU outside the bathroom, and a flex outlet inside the bathroom.

I have mine wired through a 7 day central heating programmer, so it switches its self on and off, without having to worry about remembering to switch it or, or forgetting to turn it off.

Seriously, that's a cracking idea. Remember though, that CH gear is usually only rated to 3A max.

Not that there are many towel rails rated above that...
