Hello,

I did the calculations to install heaters in my home and the bathrooom came up as 670-900 watts. The towel rails barely reach the 600 watt mark.

Is it generally accepted that using a towel rail, instead of a panel radiator in a bathroom it will give less heat as it is not a room where you spend much time?

Thanks

you really need more heat rather than less your towel rail will be covered with towels further reducing the heat

you will spend more time in the bathroom with exposed flesh than any other room so why would you want it to be colder for longer :D
better with a radiator and a towel rail

A towel rail is a towel warmer not a radiator. Although on small bathrooms this is normally enough of a heat source

I see the problem, my bathroom is largish so I may have to install a radiator instead
