The train guard has not been arrested, presumably because he did not break any law such as "inciting violence"

Nah, what saddens me is the attitude towards "big man" when in my opinion he quite obviously did the right thing, as the other passenger was disrupting the rail service, being abusive towards the conductor and refusing to be the bigger man and simply accept that the train won't be going anywhere with him on it.

You lot would rather have the Transport Police get called out, on presumably 150% pay because it is out of hours, turn up there after letting the people in the train wait for an extra hour and a half, escort the gentleman out of the train and give him a slap on the wrists and let him go rather than writing it up and making a case out of it, as that would be too much paperwork.

He got removed off the train, no harm done, and it saved the taxpayer a fair dollop of cash.
