Evening all.
I have a customer with the above boiler. Occasionally the motor hums by won't run. If you spin it, it's fine for a week. I'm assuming it's the capacitor. Are they all the same ?

If you mean this one https://trianco.co.uk/capacitor-c107-8-221309-221309. look here for exactly the same part at a reasonable price instead of a rip off https://www.google.com/search?q=3.5...Q&iflsig=ANes7DEAAAAAZhyz4wLvZknfZj2b551KpSj-
or this one https://trianco.co.uk/capacitor-c107-9-221342-now-223122-223122
then find the value ( look for a number followed by uF on the side of the can )and do the same search. Cheap enough just to try but I think you are probably correct in your diagnosis.

You should ensure that the motor turns freely. If not you may be able to lubricate the bearings. I use car engine oil as it is designed for high temperatures. Never WD40 !

If you have the right test meter you can measure the capacitor value. After shorting the terminals to ensure it is discharged!
