Sorry - this might seem like a daft question but it's going to be my first attempt at fencing!

When I come to fitting the last panel it needs to be trimmed by a few inches. What's the best way of doing this without it completely disintegrating ?!

Thanks in advance,

Phil

Get a couple of strips of roofing lath, it's about 1" thick and between 1 1/2" to 2" wide and put one either side of the panel where it needs cutting and screw together thus sandwiching the panel. Then simply run a saw down the outside and stain up the lath. Job done.

i normally mark the panel where the new end will be, take of the two batten and fix it on the new mark, then just trim the excess off.
