Trouble releasing the chuck

The drill is a black and decker quatro.

Yonks ago the chuck got replaced with another one capable of accepting wider bits.

I can't see what I need to stick in there to release it.

I've bought a better drill since and was planning on selling this one on.

Any ideas ?

It's usually a left hand Philips head. Not really worth the hassle of selling, just keep it kicking around as a spare.
 
There doesn't seem to be anything that is catching within the chuck, tried all sorts.
 
Have you tried gripping a large Allen Key and knocking it clockwise?
