Troublesome cupboard door hinges

i have some cupboards with this style of hinge:

They don't stay open or half open like they used to. instead the spring in the hinge closes them. some with more force than others...

so i'm assuming this is some sort of failure or adjustment requirement of the hinge.

does anyone have any advice? hoping it is something i can adjust and not replace hinges if i don't need to.

These hinges do wear.
If you have had them for a while it sounds as if they need replacing I'm afraid.
Why don't you pick up a couple from B&Q , change them and if the problem is not solved return them.
