You really need kiln dried, or better still CLS for straightness and easier studwork

For straightness..... Now that is a laugh....

What are you on about. They all come from straight growing pine trees, just like telegraph poles ... and you don't see any bent ones of those do you?

But you see plenty of bent lengths of C.L.S.

Please do not try and say that they are all true.......

You could always try steel studding - nice straight wall, easy to fit.

Don't like it muself but it does the job, don't use the 50mm stuff - too flexiblew and glue the boards on as well as screwing for stiffness.
