How many nukes have they built in the last 25 years?I'll fairly and squarely blame Starmer if RR don't pick up the lions share of the nuclear SMR deal.

Which SMR deal?
I realise that but there's a number of deals going on.Small Modular Reactors. Small nuclear reactors built mainly offsite in modular form, About the size of a football pitch when finished and capable of supplying power to approx 1 million homes.

there are only 4 SMRs operational in the world, in Russia and China4 contenders competing for contracts in UK of which RR is one, the award could go to more than one company. Winner is expected to be announced in June.

its a rapidly emerging technology, the Uk should be putting a ton of money into British businesses like RR to be at the forefront
If the contract goes to a foreign company esp China, I would nto be impressed at all.
Hinckley point C is a massive failure in my opinion -French construction with Chinese finance and decades of super expensive electricity -absolutely nuts.

Eighteen-year-old Charlotte Kreft says her own pacifist views have changed.
"For a really long time, we thought the only way to make up for the atrocities we committed in World War Two was to make sure it never happened again […] and we thought we needed to demilitarise," Charlotte explains.
"But now we are in a situation where we have to fight for our values and democracy and freedom. We need to adapt."
"There are lots of Germans who still feel strange about big investments in our military," Ludwig Stein agrees. "But I think considering the things that have happened in the past few years, there's no other real option."
Germany have historically been an aggressive nation with an incredibly effective military.
They are now starting to develop ballistic rockets for the first time
