trump could be good news for the U.K
he likes us& he liked our Brexit vote , rest Of the Eu will need to tread a carful path when negotiating the terms of brexit with trump on board

I read that Trump is now back-tracking on his plan to abolish Medicare (Obamacare).
Even if he turns out to be the best President ever, surely he will not have carried out a lot (most) of his "manifesto" - no wall, not banned muslims, not abolished Medicare, etc. etc.
So, in a perverse way, he is just like any other politician, but in his case, it will be a good thing that he lied to the people and will have gone back on all his promises.

Not racist because they are Pakistani (No different than American) - but there would be an illogical fuss about it.Favourite of mine that the name of their country is regarded as an insult.

)In the 60's there was an American president elected called J.F.K
Who's father Joe I believe had been the US ambassador to Nazi Germany ? & rumoured to have been a Nazi symphaiser ?????
He got elected President with the help of organised crime ? the teamster union run by the mob/mafia.
JFK thought it would be a jolly good idea to station pershing nuclear missiles in Turkey near the soviet border.
The soviet leader ship took exception & said f*** it we will station nuclear missiles in Cuba. which they did.
So began the Cuban missile crisis , probably the closest ? that the world has come to all out nuclear war. There was no hot line (phone) communication at that time between the soviets & the U.S so all communications was via telegraph messages
The Soviets backed down ? or so at the time it was portrayed by The US / JFK administration. and dismantled the missiles stationed in Cuba ,
The USSR only did so because the US gave in to the soviet demand that the missiles in turkey were removed.
The US "quietly" removed the missiles from Turkey 3 months later as agreed
Yep Trump would have to go some to emulate the biggest nutter who ever occupied the White House
