NATO is essentially dead already under Trump. As anyone who has ever made an agreement with Trump knows, his word is worthless.

We do need some breathing space but we need to be spending on defence now. You can have all the welfare services you want, hospitals, schools and libraries but it wont do you any good if someone decides to come and take them off you.

I don't think he is a person to trust, however he is no fool, he knows how to manipulate, and he knows how to win.

what's going on with these big breaking news stories, he is going to take Greenland, and big hints that he might be going to take on Putin. Is this a trade off, he helps Europe push Russia out of the Ukraine (something we all want) but at the same time he muscles into Greenland (something we don't want). but may not complain that much due to help with Ukraine.

And as a bonus he gets one over on Putin by showing how to acquire territory (Greenland & Venezuela) without loss of life and indeed making a fortune for his country (The arms europe have to buy from the US to protect Ukraine) & (All Venezuela’s oil)
