Your statement does not make any sense. You either form an alliance or you don't. Strengthening ones military defences unilaterally is not how a cooperative alliance works.

USA was considered an ally until Trump came along. Now folk in Europe are seeing (Trumps) USA as an aggressor. He's ignoring international agreements, because he can and the SCOTUS has allowed him to do that.


Perhaps you are saying we should break up Europe into 'pro' camps, ignore international agreements, treaties, NATO, close borders and increase taxes massively and start spending huge amounts on the military?
