I need to lift some floor joists up to level a few things but only have around 500mm in height to work with. Smallest acro's I've seen are around 1m and most jacks far too small. Any ideas what would be the best thing to use or can you get adjustable jacks/props around that height

thanks

edit: No problem came across something called Trench Struts that seem to just be small acrows :)

I did a job like this some years ago and used the scissor jack out of my car to raise the joists. :)

good ole car jack does the job, done this on numerous occasions.

Thanks for the ideas guys, I did think about a carjack but it's one of those annoying heights that's probably be a bit rickety as the height of the bricks would need to be quite high just to get to the full 600mm or so I need. The trench struts look ideal unless i can find something solid and high enough to stick a car jack on

cut a steel scaffold tube to 400ish, put an adjustable base plate on, something flat or another plate at the top, robert's your fathers brother
