I am replacing several internal door handles, everything fits except for the tubular latches as the hole in the door is too small. Is there some sort of cutter that will fit on a drill to slightly enlarge the holes.

You could use a slightly larger spade bit and take care, or use a holesaw. Same way, carefully, or a chisel.

Trouble is he is trying to enlarge a hole from 63 to 76 mm deep.
I have those bits and cone drills but they are not much good for this job.

Once a spade bit is CAREFULLY started it will guide through.

Latch.....................door....................Tubular.......................

What do you think then?

I think I'll let the OP tell me what it is he needs.

To be fair if the question was specific we would not have had the above debate.

Posts here are always ambiguous, I took it to mean he had a different brand of latch as they vary a few mm in section. :?: and he asked for a cutter to fit a drill to enlarge the hole.
Maybe he will enlighten us. ;)

Well I took it initially as that hence the depths being mentioned.
Now it could be the latch spindle hole misaligned :-S

Damn waking up so early on a Sunday BTW
