Tumble Drier Vent

Getting a new vented drier. Going to drill vent hole from utility into garage, then from inside garage to outside.

Q1: Will vent work ok with 90 degree elbow in pipe, or does it need to be straight?

Q2: Was going to use proper plastic vent pipe to improve vent flow, rather than flexi pipe or is flexi just as good??

Pipe needs to be straight cos fluff will stick in the pipe at the bend and eventually over heat and melt the vent hose causing a fire. Trust me I've done 9 fire reports on tumble dryer vents this year , 3 gutted kitchens 4 tumbles burnt out .and 2 melted hoses.

Hmmm - ok maybe flexi hose as straight as possible then?
