I was looking under my floorboards and noticed a junction box which is on a radial circuit. In the junction box is a 2.5 cable and then a 6mm running to the socket, the 2.5mm cable is about 5 meters and the 6mm about the same.Is there a problem in having two different size cables on the one radial circuit ,it is protected by a 15amp fuse.

as long as both cables are rated HIGER than the breaker then size difference doesn't matter... hidden JB's under floor however are a problem..
