Two gang light switch - what am I doing wrong?

Hi,

When I wire what I believe is the live to a switch with the neutral, one light works but other one doesn't.

When I wire it like this, nighter work.

What am I doing wrong?

If you put the 3 browns together do both lights work?

Faulty switch maybe?

Try the 3 lives together as suggested but these may be switched lines rather than neutrals.

What makes you believe that is the perm live?

They don't work if I do that.

When I disconnect the switch and separate the 3 sets of wires. One marked perm live shows it has power

When I connect these two wires to a plug/ socket that light works. But I can't seem to make it work in the switch.

There are 3 wires in the light - super confused

How do you mean, it works?

Do you mean you are extending that twin and earth cable pictured in the switch box and connecting in to a power supply and the lamp in the pendant lights up?

Are you sure the neutrals are all making continuity with each other in that connector?
