****ty life

Surely if they have to do work on it and move you out, it will be at their expense and they will have to find you suitable accommodation while the works take place?

Bloody hell mate, I would have taken it. What's the plan now as I don't think the council look too favourably on refusing or turning down offers, not sure but will they offer you a new one? I think they look more favourably on single women or families than single men?

Backup plan is in the boot of my car!!!!

I am not happy about it all so I am not going to keep going over it....it's been a bad day....I couldn't accept it plus, I also found out that the rent figures given the other week were wrong. It was much higher. All in all just not worth it for me. Asbestos wise. Financially. Anxiety wise.........just not as easy to say yes as you think. Not in my position anyway.

I appreciated everyone's good and kind advice though...thank you all.

Fair enough mate, if it were me I'd snap it up.....they ain't gonna put you in danger.....you might get a move to a house when the work starts, who knows...
He will definitely be temporarily re housed, social landlords are paranoid about health and safety when it comes to asbestos

As a child my mother used an asbestos blanket to wrap me up in to keep me warm.
