Trying to get my head around the fact that I will be 3hrs away from my bestest friend in the world, my heartbeat, my daughter...

We are EXTREMELY close but, she is drifting away as she gets on with life

Trouble with kids is that they are the centre of most parents world but as they get older and start to make their own lives, the sad fact is that parents are often not even in the same universe as them! Sounds like she knows what she wants so just let her have it.

She says she will be moving to Canada to work once Uni is over. Then, she will be thousands of miles away!!

I have to think long and hard about it. Only thing holding me back is the thought that I may only see my girl once every couple weeks. We are EXTREMELY close but, she is drifting away as she gets on with life. That hurts. I know I have to let her do her own thing. I have ALWAYS been there for her, 24/7...I will always be there for her no matter what...

She will most probably join the Green Party.
