Hello all

I'm planning on having an UFH system put in, around 30 sq. m, in size.
Pipes will be screeded in around 75mm thick, above a 100mm of insulation.

From looking around at various websites, it's thrown up more questions than just picking a kit.

I see various brands selling 'single room' kits, these appear to have a very small manifold, presumably with single or double loop.
Are these a no-no or would a larger manifold offer any actual improvement?

This will be linked to an Intergas combi, the plumber has already installed a honeywell 2 port valve, and I will be getting him to commission it etc.

I wouldn't personally want to use a single room kit on an area that size. You'll get much better heat distribution with a proper manifold system

Cheers for that, having done a bit of reading, seems I won’t be laying this under kitchen carcasses etc.

so I’m probably looking at a system of about 25 sq. m.

seen prowarm kits from £500 and polypipe at the other end at £1200.

What system do you favour?
