Only in leading or support roles.
I believe there is one full-time employee crewed station - their busiest.

Only in leading or support roles.

Just put your fingers in your ears and shout la la lagood one.
2,850 paid staff members, as of 2024, to support its 24/7 rescue services across the UK and Ireland. In addition to these employees, the organization relies on a vast network of over 8,800 volunteers.
Just under a quarter of the "workforce" are paid.

About 3/4 million foreign born people registered with the NHS as new patients every year since 2010.
Those are people who cannot possibly have paid into the NHS, yet are now as equally entitled to its services as we who have paid for decades.
But remember:
It is nothing to do with immigration
Nothing to do with islam
and... VOTE LABOUR FOREVER!

Yes, of course they do, you always tell the truth. Most pay an NHS bond as a condition of getting a visa.
Yes, of course they do, you always tell the truth.
Indeed...Most UK visas are No Recourse to Public Funds and require a yearly payment to cover the NHS.
Failing that, sign up at a loosely run GP surgery with proof of address - a simple rental agreement will suffice - and you will be issued with an NHS number that cannot be cancelled and is valid for life. Mrs Mottie lost count of the DNA (Did Not Attend) letters she typed telling the GP that their referral didn’t turn up for the consultation as they were back in their home country - and these were people on Hep B tablets where a 30 day course cost over £100 per tablet!Indeed...
"To live in the UK for more than six months, you usually need to pay the Immigration Health Surcharge (IHS) as part of your visa application. This fee gives you access to the National Health Service (NHS) on the same basis as a permanent resident, though you still pay for standard extras like prescriptions or dental care.
Current Annual Rates (as of February 2026)
The surcharge is paid upfront for the entire duration of your visa.
Standard Rate: £1,035 per year for most adult visa categories (e.g., Skilled Worker, Family visas).
Discounted Rate: £776 per year for:
Students and their dependants.
Youth Mobility Scheme applicants.
Children under the age of 18 at the time of application"
One wonders how much the indigenous 'benefit scroungers' cough up to access their 'free at the point of access' NHS![]()

There wasn't frictionless freedom of movement between Europe and UK. It was still necessary to show valid criteria to enter UK, and Europe.the system failed because of Freedom of movement.

So Mrs Mottie works at a loosely run GP practice, where new patients without an NHS number register, and don't turn up for appointments.Failing that, sign up at a loosely run GP surgery with proof of address - a simple rental agreement will suffice - and you will be issued with an NHS number that cannot be cancelled and is valid for life.
