What am I missing?
Why can't you buy a non-rewireable plug with a lead and cut off the other end?

Why is the use of the 1960s piece necessary? In a bedroom I have a 1960's shaver light. The advantage of this is that there is no isolation Transformer and the socket is always on. Euro plugs fall out of it.
I intend to plug something into this, and run it to a 2 pin euro extension socket (already have one somewhere), and then hardwire into the back a toothbrush charger base.
Ditto that, it’s what I use. Have no shaver socket in the bathroom cos I never use electric shavers I have never seen the need for myself. Of course I have installed them for my customers if they wanted them.I don't find it a problem to charge my toothbrush in the bedroom.
EDIT: £25 for Oral B. Tempting. Next time I need one, I know where I will be going!
I'm not too sure what "add-n features" I would want of a toothbrushThe cheaper models are usually very similar, but have fewer add-on features.

Bluetooth connectivity to an app on a phone or tablet showing you a graphic of whereabouts you are in the coverage of your teeth, and to record your brushing habits and provide advice and feedback, of course.I'm not too sure what "add-n features" I would want of a toothbrush![]()

Mrs alwaysgotabloodyanswer & I both have Lidl own-brand handles, which take Oral B heads.Probably going to cost more than £5 including the replacements heads
And I would still need to plug it in somewhere.
Am temptend to see what they sell now though!
