UK to Rwanda asylum plan ruled unlawful

Confusion surrounds the fate of the EUs new

“ cash for migrant location” agreement

Initially proclaimed as a historic way foward :giggle:

After years of failing to persuade EU
States to agree to quotas for migrant relocation and with the prospect of the EUs migration and asylum laws collapsing into disarray ahead of next years EU elections

They have hit on a new ruse / caper :ROFLMAO:

Can't help yourself can you
Short term memory? Wasn't it you who said something about attack the person rather than the message? You do unravel in a spectacular fashion, not something that should be open to public viewing but obviously that's not shared with everyone at diynot.
Any thoughts about the points I raised? Or is it the old standby, we just need 'fairness'

It's rumoured in fact it's a bit more than that, France has been on a track of not recognizing immigrants as early as the 19 50s and is why they have 'troubles' to this day why they have troubles on the streets.

If you want a reply to a comment you need to make it more understandable. Otherwise it gets ignored.

This.

If someone puts up a profile of people who the taxpayer has too fund for nefarious ways and then assimilates this should be a worldwide sense of 'duty' to some abstract feeling of responsibility to people across the world then I don't get the vibes, sorry if this doesn't suit.

And as for attacking the person, not the message, it is your M.O. I just pointed it out.

Not really, some people like to gob off like a stuck record and criticise but don't know what the solution is. We do need a solution, but you don't know what it is. Cool...
Notice you castigated someone who didn't proffer any solutions yet you felt comfortable with failing to put any solutions forward yourself.
Cool.

Ah you want baby steps.
Maid Marion posted a profile of people who have committed crimes in this country. As a taxpayer I take that on the chin. As a taxpayer where does this duty fall down when it spreads further afield to people who've gained the system and enter the country found to be commiting crimes by way of violence, drugs, and prostitution?

I'd say it's self-defeating to try and claim they're all undesirables. Some may be, most are just wanting to make the best of their lives, you can't blame them inidividually or claim they're monsters.

The problem is that there's nothing in it for the rest of us. Everyone else's housing costs go up and wages go down every time the population increases.

I'd wonder what other countries would do if I turned up in a boat without permission. Most would actually defend their borders instead of escorting you in. I doubt that most would give you a hotel room, dinner and pocket money. And people wonder why we get targeted.

So is France, Spain, Italy, Greece and all the other European countries they pass through. We somehow need to stop the economic illegal immigration as we can’t carry on like we have been, it’s costing the taxpayer far too much.
They all have refugees too. And many more than us.

Why can't we carry on like this? We need labour, and these people don't currently have jobs.

So your quite happy for the corporates (Tesco as an example) to profiteer off limiting the hours of working for an employee so they qualify for hand outs where the taxpayer picks up the tab.

Is multi culturism working in your eyes?

I'm not gobbing off about the situation, a few of you are. You don't want this, you don't want that, so what are we to do about it? You haven't a clue.

It took a few hundred years, but I think the Anglo Saxons and the Normans eventually found a way to rub along quite nicely.

But seriously, when I was much younger, I used to wish that the Muslim community would become more integrated. However, over the years, I've come to realise that it's OK if many of them want to live near each other. There are a few bad apples. But that's the same with white Christians as well.

The people who are most scared of other cultures, are those who don't have much contact with them. Once you do, you very quickly realise there's nothing to fear.

This happens regardless of a person's origin...

It's called Corporate Welfare!
