Ukraine counter offensive

Odds has been telling us that Hitler was right to invade the Sudetenland.

Yes, this...

I thought you were perhaps making a different point, but then again, who knows...
Rightly or wrongly depending on how you read it, he saw the wagons circling on the way the USA wanted regime change in Russia (they like regime change the Americans) so even with his tinpot army which was hardly likely to conquer the world ,didnt fancy the wests way of doing things so went down sh*t or bust route.

The rulers of Russia habitually feel insecure and try to stay in power with a tight grip and severity. They do not like the population to aspire to a freer or more comfortable life outside the empire. The rich are permitted to live in international luxury as long as they toe the line. Russia colonises its neighbours when the opportunity arises. These can be used as buffers to keep true Russians away from the outside world, and also to give true Russians a sense of superiority over the second-class citizens of the vassal states.

Putin is riding a tiger and dare not dismount.

You can just as easily replace the name Russia with Britain or America in that paragraph and it'd still ring true.
I thought an old Communard like yourself would embrace this New Red Wave: Too Stalinist for your Trotskyite tastes, perchance?

@Odds

Oh, you're a Stalinist are you? That fits your support of Putin and his reconstruction of the Soviet Union as a step to a new Russian Empire

Love it, Putin bad west good all the while the west is being colonised by the globalists.

What your doing is twisting and taking things out of context to give you the upper hand in these games of oneupmanship you like to play.
You understand quite well what I was saying.

I really don't. You seem to be saying that Vlad defended Russia from the Americans, and others, and that America like regime change. Right?

I then pointed out that it was in fact Russia who invaded Ukraine and certainly wanted regime change early on. Can you see the point I'm making?
all the while the west is being colonised by the globalists.
Typical tinfoil hatter nonsense.
