Under cupboard lighting

Looking for recomendations for these please.

Ones I've seen and used seem to have these tiny very expensive lamps in them which dont seems to last very long.

Any thought on some low wattage units please - thanks

You will need to purchase an LED driver seperately to run them on mains.

I've done a couple of kitchens with them. They are low energy, very long lasting, and as there's hundreds of tiny lamps, you get a really good even shadow free spread of light.

Now they look very interesting, could also be used as kick board lighting

Put them on top of your wall cabinets too and hey presto diffused lighting for under a tenner!

Good shout for on top of cupboards. I'll have a 7m kitchen cupboard run, would look good!

I take it the 12v transformers are also available on ebay

Yes, but you need to make sure it is specifically designed as an LED driver. Many standard lighting transformers will not power LEDs.
