under floor heating 300w

my under floor heating is 300w from wickes.
i am getting it wired to the rcd protected cu.
would 6a be big enough or does it need a 16a trip?

Is it on its own circuit? If so then a 6A MCB will be more that enough. If it is not on it's own circuit then it depends how much load is already on the existing circuit.

yes its on its own circuit, so i will have the 6A MCB moved to the rcd protected part of the cu and get it wired to that.
