I am renovating my 2nd story flat and would like to move my kitchen sink to the other side of the room, away from the waste pipe...
I may need to install a pump for under the sink to the main waste pipe for the building.
I've heard mixed reviews about using this pumping system and just wondered what the general consensus was on here??!

Ok cheers. Spoke to a plumber today and he reckoned in his experience they are pretty problematic a few months down the line.
Only problem is I'm not sure if there is an alternative without moving the desired position of sink!

Your plumber is probably talking about a Saniflo macerator.....they don't always have a loo connection (I think he'd mean the Sanivite or Sanishower).
For sure, they do give bother eventually and the toilet ones particularly are dreadful to sort.
John :)
