Dear all

We got up this morning to cold feet on our kitchen floor tiles. The underfloor heating has somehow packed up overnight. We have a split system, the kitchen and sub kitchen / dining room both have their own separate system. Both are operated from the same power point at the wall.

The sub kitchen is on, there is power to the display unit on the wall. However the one in the kitchen is not, and there is no power in the display unit. Oddly there is no on off switch on it either. I tried to turn off the switch at the wall socket but it is locked in place. I then turned off the power to the area to see if it would budge and it would not. The fuse in it is accessed from the front but surely if one of the display units is working then that can't be the problem?

Is this an electrical or plumbing problem?

Thanks for reading

Lets be clear, is this a wet (hw via boiler) or dry (electrical) ufh system?

The switch, which sounds like a switched fused spur isn't right if the switch rocker has seized.

Could you post a picture for clarity?
