Not Another Reich FFS. And who's heiling who ?T I hear another German silently shouting Sieg Heil, Sieg Heil.

So what does it matter what party leaders set out their aspirations for their future at party conferences?
It is what it is an aspiration of Martin Schulz, nothing more.
More importantly, SPD have agreed a coalition with Angela Merkle.
I can easily add some silly political comments made by politicians of all sorts. It does not mean much because they are what they are.
For instance Ruth Davidson would sack Boris, an aspiration for Ruth Davidson but it does not meant it will happen any time soon.
Boris Johnson wants the EU to go whistle, but it will not happen any time soon.
Phillip Lee, a justice minister, has told a fringe meeting that the welfare state is like a “Ponzi scheme” close to collapse.
There are loads of comments that can be listed, it does not mean that any of them will happen any time soon. They are just thoughts spoken out loud for the benefit of the party faithful.
We can leave and say "up yours" or "go whistle" anytime we like. Go ask the Tories what is stopping us. The UK government is making it difficult to leave because they thought we could have our cake and eat it.
The cold realisation of Brexit is finally slamming home and the Quitters are throwing their dummy out of the pram.
Dumb Quitters.
Not Another Reich FFS. And who's heiling who

It may not be another Reich, but doesn't mean to say that the ideology has changed. Germany has been at the heart of the EU since it's conception, and it was one thing for Junkers to say that the EU needed even tighter integration, but now a German politician is saying that they need to get closer together, and if you're not going to fall in line, then you've got to leave.
As I see it, It's typical Germanic control, coercion, and bullying to achieve their aims.

I've got to agree with you completely here Noseall. The Tories are completely screwing up the negotiations, but I think that the cold realisation, is of how useless our politicians are; nothing to do quitters, as many Remainers are behind the brexit now as well.
I wonder if those idiots that told May that she should go to the country, will ever get a job again.

Where do you get your ideas from?It is not some silly political comment, a united states of Europe is the core belief of the European Union, not some off the cuff remark that is out of touch with the ideology of the European Union, it is central to the Eu's future.
On the contrary, it demonstrates that everything that politicians hope for does not come true, especially the ones who are not in government.Adding some non related political comments to make your point......does no such thing

Explain that to notch and doggit, who think that a couple of politicians aspirations will hold sway...., of course they say they need the consent of all members ....
