Perhaps I should have posted a picture of a red bus.

Anybody that does that has absolutely nothing useful to add to any discussion.

so you don't think an electioneering lie repeatedly published throughout the country is significant.

I'm guessing you are one of those people who thought that when politicians were ramming the red bus down our throats (pre Brexit), they were doing something useful.
Incredible hypocrisy.

The Wail is a bad paper and it can only be described as biased.

I see they eventually sacked Katie Hopkins after she lost another libel case. She must be the most irritating t₩&@t ever.

Probably the 4th.

You would be guessing entirely wrong then.

Claiming hypocrisy based on you own assumption..........best if you stick to the red bus, pictures are more your thing

Katie Hopkins or Owen Jones? That is a tough call.

They're all biased, that's how they get us to read them. It appeals to our sense of perspective, and we inherently accept that bias without question, and it becomes a self fulfilling justification, simply because we want it to be true. That's why you you should always be prepared to change your opinion if the evidence is overwhelmingly against what you first thought.

You read the Guardian and the Independent, simply because being left wing, you like the slant they put on it, and whilst you can always find articles that show the fallacy of the reporting, that doesn't mean that in the main, that most or the articles aren't correct, just put from a different perspective than suits you your liking. It could even be argued that both are valid perspectives, but that wouldn't suit our differing viewpoints.

You say you read the Wail
Yes I do read the Mail, But I also check things I don't understand, or want clarified

did you consider it necessary to check this story?
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...ritain-officials-tell-Bolivian-immigrant.html

How do you think you came to hold your incorrect opinions about UK being prevented by EU rules from expelling foreign citizens? Did you make them up yourself, or did you read them somewhere?

Do you have any opinions about Jeremy Corbyn? Or foreigners? Or Muslims? Are they equally reliable?

Just flicked through the points John, thanks for that. I can see exactly where you are coming from, but as always, those with nefarious intentions, always find a way round the rules (article 19); and this is why all those romanians that stand on the street selling the Big Issue, and claim to be self employed, are now being targeted.

I believe it was article 16 where we were told by the EU that as benefits weren't means tested for the British, then this couldn't be applied to immigrants.

Article 23 is where we can't deport immigrants as they are entitled to a home life, even if they have done harm to public.

Etc Etc Etc, but in essence, you make a very valid point in that it's the UK government that's making as much of a hash of things, as it is the EU in telling us to bend over etc.
