Thanks.Strictly speaking it should be the chap who installed it is the one to sign but TBH as long as you have a correct certificate now then that's all you want.
Now it's time to ensure that the warranty is in place.
I spoke to the manufacturer directly they won't consider it even given the circumstsances.
If it goes faulty I'll just have to go through small claims court with the installer.
I'm more relieved it was installed by someone who was qualified at least.
