JPC,
I know u ain't done it yet, but what does it entail, and did u have to meet some sort of criteria before u could go on it - and where are u doing it?
no time limit on the ticket...but they could introduce another ticket u need and therefore u could need to go thru it again.
(ie there was a chap there with a 10 yr old ticket of some sort and it was not valid anymore)
It entailed getting to grips with the workings of uhws. alot on the safety aspects....
didn't get my hands dirty..all theory...written test and then check a system and find faults on it....
but they do look after you...seems not many fail (thankfully)
allenvb I think there is an entry requirement. Contact Oso or Baxipotterton and ask them they both sponser courses (Baxi run one and offer discounts off products, Oso offer vouchers but you have to find a training centre) in order to sell their cylinders, they should be able to help you.
mine was citb many many years ago mid eighties no one can tell me if i need to renew it or carry on,untill someone can give me a definite yea or nay i will continue to fit them
i dont think so...
but its is aimed at folk that know about plumbing..
if u knew nothing about plumbing u'd struggle.
the tutor even said we aim this course at folk that are fitting unvented illegally to get them legal !
