Hi,

I have a window sill damaged by an incense stick someone left on it.
You can see if you look at the photos that the internal sill is not Upvc because it has burnt through the this plastic(?) veneer to the wood composite below.

Any ideas how to repair?
Thanks

Is there a paint type that can go on there without looking nasty?

Hi

It looks almost coated with something like vinyl? If vinyl, maybe a vinyl repair kit could patch it?

You could also check with the company that fittted it to see if they have patching options.

Cheers

On another sill cigarette burns like this.
What to do without replacing the sill?

Only thing I found so far is this.
Plast-Aid
Seems like might be a bit of a gimmick.
Anyone any experience with it?

Thanks

Just discovered having taken an end cap off that it is plastic underneath the white veneer.
It is a thin white veneer on top and a brown plastic structure underneath.
Here is the end section.
