Well it's not really urgent if it's been there 18 months..

After that time you can't prove he left it like that, even if you know that's the case.

I reckon you'll have to get someone else in to fix it - and a few other things which might not be right, hard to tell from the pics.

he'll have done a tightness test, so even though he kinked it, it does't mean its leaking, you would have smelled by now if it was,

So ok thanks for replying

With all the fuss of seen on these forums with so many things it now makes it ok to have a cut in a gas pipe im amazed yeah its not leaking else me the wife and the little one would of been blown sky high, but hey supose thats why we pay the premium for CORGI people thanks for your help.

Did you expect someone off here to come racing round to your house and replace it for free as a fellow Corgi had made a boo boo!

The pipe was clearly nicked by whoever cut the chipborad floor, if that was your installer then try him if it wasn't then its an hour or so labour.

I was hoping for a Corgi rant telephone number but im guessing if they dont bother about cut gas pipes  i doubt there worry about people moaning about it

To London boy nope not the cupboard and under the floor does the outlet release pipe not need a gradiant not shown clear in pic its like an upside down bow shape, i thought i seen it in a install manual that it needed a down gradiant my mistake then.

Well i have left messages to him now im about to wait till tomorrow for MR Corgi but hey im sure another one will be round to save the day Guuuuulp.

PS whats the thickness of the 15mm pipe then it looks like a nick but its more like a 1mm deep nick. Thanks

If that boiler is pi55esd and its not the cupboard i think i would have been on the phone straight away.
As far as being ripped off by someone who is Corgi reqed some of the responsibility to snag the work lies with whoever is employing them to make sure there standards are upto your expectations in your house, being so important with your family there etc.

The nick in the pipe could happen to anyone, and as already pointed out a tightness test should have been carried out after the work was done to confirm its gas tight(no leaks)_
But it does need putting right.
The blowoff is neither here or there, support it with a timber cross brace while the floors up to save someone charging u for a simple repair-assuming that sleeve through the blockwork is the external wall.

Im struggling to see what the problem is with the other two pictures :?:

i'm willing to bet this weeks wages on it being the boiler.

i would clip a pipe that is going to sag that much under a floor, perhaps you are not that conscientious.

I agree with what your saying about the boiler i did not notice till pointed out be a friend a month ago, but my main concern was the pipe i discovered was gas under the floor, i would never have known if i did not lift the floor boards up to stop the sqeeking floors that are resting on the pipes even resting slightly on the cut pipe after that test a few have mentioned  (That really really amazes me this can be left).

I was going to try and contact Corgi and have a word but it looks like im ****ing in the wind i dont like to get people in trouble im quite the opposite, but this left nicked pipe that was resting on a continues up and down movement of boards as clearly ****ed me off.

I have spent a good 4 hours reflooring and supporting above the pipe ive done a smell check on the area and there is no gas for the meantime until the morning to see if this clown phones me back if not mr local plumber will be contacted ASAP

you will have no joy with corgi, they ceased to hold the register a couple of years ago in england/wales/scotland.Ni changed this year so its gas safe you need to contact
