URGENT PVA query

I have seen two types of PVA in homebase 1) SuperPVA 2) waterproof PVA

I am planning to coat and seal the plaster in a powershower. The waterproof PVA states it is only waterproof when mixed with the cement etc. As I am not planning to do this does it matter which I buy if I am planning to use 3/4 coats.

Also what is the typical ratio PVA:water for sealing this type of work??
