Hi folks

I have an auto siphon that empties the entire water contents of the cistern, i have swapped it over and its still doing it, is there a way of reducing the amount of water that flushes?

Many thanks

It has a cistermiser which is working fine, it will fill the cistern with about 6l of water (a guess) at this point the auto siphon starts and continues until the cistern is empty.

I think i get what you mean although its not very clear from the original post.

What you are trying to do is reduce the amount of water used per flush? ie using 6L currently you only want to use 4L (example).

Am i right in my assumption?

If so then you could consider a displacement device which will reduce water usage but also the flushes effectivness.

It's all a little obvious really, Thanks

If you only want to save water why dont you fit the only approved device for new urinal installations an IR flusher?
