Used car prices – discounts?

Hi all,

Looking to buy a used car shortly, just wondering if anyone has got a good deal from used car sellers? Haven’t bought a car for years, last time I got about 9% off for a cash deal. Can I still expect a discount for cash these days?

Just do a bit of homework and find out the value of the car and what its worth to you. I bought a works van in January it was up at £8999. i was happy to pay 8.5 but I just took the pi5s and said 8k and I was shocked when he agreed

Just be a bit cheeky, if you don't ask you don't get etc

Dont seem to keen, if they have had it a while you will get a better deal. If go to a main dealer, there used cars are expensive & they arnt in much of a position to do a deal beyound the basic discount. Compare prices have a look at things such as cargiant
