Is it advisable to use a bit of PTFE round the olive and thread when securing plastic pipes to brass compression fittings?
For example securing 15mm JG speedfit PEX to a brass built in Mira shower valve mixer?
I presume you don't need to use PTFE with plastic compression fittings?

Thanks in advance
