What the right sensor apart the carbon monoxide to install on the utility cupboard where we have boiler switch board and washing machine.

No. That's heat and CO. You want smoke or combined smoke and heat for utility rooms.

Heat only for kitchens.

Got a bit confused. It`s fine heat and smoke combined but what about carbon monixide?

You're confused?

You can have all three, or none at all depending on what you trying to achieve.

There is no requirement for any detection, unless you are installing a LD1 system - which is a detector in all rooms. In which case the minimum is smoke detection in the utility. Heat and CO are optional.
