Vacuum Cleaner Suction Mystery

Hello,

I've had my Hoover TCW2011 Bagless 2000W Pets cylinder vacuum for 2 years. The suction has suddenly dropped completely.

When I take the floor tool off, the suction from the tube is still very strong. So I opened up the floor tool and removed fluff and stuff but that changed nothing. I even bought a new floor tool online but still there's no suction through it. I can't work it out!

Any ideas?

Does it have any filters?

Looking on line at pictures of your machine, I suspect a blockage in the pipe work. Take off the hose a push a broom stick down it from both ends.

Thanks for replying.

It does have a HEPA filter and washable filter.

I hadn't though it could be the pipe/hose because the suction is still strong from the end of the hose. I will try that though, thank you.
