I recently removed 2 radiators from the diningroom whilst it got it plastered, now since the colder weather arrived when we put the radiators on only 3 of them work for about 5 mins then they cut off and the egg timer flashes as shown in the pic.

Today i put the radiators back in and hoped they would go back to normal but they havent. I bled all the radiators then i isolated the 3 working radiators, the 4 non working radiators then started to get warm but also cut out after 5 mins, egg timer flashing on the boiler.

Could someone please point me in the right direction on how to sort this problem out.

Thanks

Sounds like, you have an airlock. Turn all radiators off, apart from one not working, run heating, then bleed that radiator. Repeat the process, for other problem radiators.

The egg timer symbol, means the boiler has decided it has approached its maximum set temperature, and is pausing its heat generation for a few minutes.

Ill try that tomorrow thank you, on my system it branches off into 2, 1 has 3 rads on and the other has 4, now when i isolated the 3 working rads and turned the heating back on, the first rad on the none working ones sounded like it was bubbling away inside, i was convinced i was gonna get a load of air when i bled it after that but got nothing. Ill give it a go tomorrow and keep you posted, thanks again for your help
