Vaillant EcoTec 831 Diverter Valve - Can’t replace it?

Hi. Can you tell me what size drill bit you use to drill out the screws as I have one where the screws have rusted and I cannot get them to budge. So need to drill them out. Also, can you recommend some nice long length screw drivers as I am in need of a new set. Thanks
Oh, and if you wouldn't mind, it would be good to know the bits you use in the impact driver as well as the impact driver is a great tool for getting tough screws out a

A standard pilot bit. I use rothenberger long reach pz2 but Halfords pz2 is a nice driver too. Get one you can use in conjunction with a set of grips.

I get my bits from work, so just ordinary pz2 bits and a long extension bit holder.

Thanks for the reply and advice. Got to be a long reach pilot bit though. Do you know what thickness you use as I have drilled out the threads before trying to drill the screw heads off!

Again, 5hanks for the reply and advice

3mm I start with and then I think it’s a 5mm

Hi. Sorry to keep pestering. Could you advise which drill bits and length you use as struggling to find decent length drill bits that mention cutting into steel. Thank-you
