hi, i have the above boiler and with the help of qualified individuals we have moved the boiler and are strting to get it up and running. firstly it wouldn't ignite - a short circuit on the circuit board was found and therefore the board replaced. when the new board was put in, the boiler was fired up, we had hot water etc for about 5 minutes then the whole electricity supply tripped. it was suggested it may be the pump..which we have now replaced. second pump fitted but boiler still trips. we have wired the pump to the mains separeately and this works on its own. does anyone have any ideas what else could be tripping the mains?

disconnect external controls by fitting the link between 3 and 4 and see if it still does it.

Pump and fan are the only two internal parts that work on 230V. Link out 3&4 to eliminate external controls.

Isolate them one by one and see what trips it.

If it still trips fuse check wiring to boiler before throwing a pcb at it.

Surely it would have been cheaper to have fitted a new boiler rather than moving the old one and having all these new parts?

Why are these "qualified people" unable to diagnose the fault?
