After bleeding my bathroom radiator, the sytstem shut down. I looked at boiler (red light, F22 and 0.1 bar). I read this forum and found help to fill up boiler using the two taps underneath. I know water can fill quickly so although taps stiff I turned on for literally one second. The bar amount jumped to 5 and boiler started, the dial only just showed arrow in the grey area towards lowest end. I was worried pressure now to high, so I turned off. The orange light (not red as when pressure was too low) is now on and since turning off has now gone to 2.9 bar. Will this just correct itself? Should I turn back on for it to correct or do I need to do something else? I noticed on an old thread it said bar should be between 1 and 2.
Please help

Went back to look at boiler after posting and when I press the i button it shows 5. 5. Does not say bar, and the 5's are quite space apart on the screen. The dial remains just in the grey. Can anyone help please.

Increase the water pressure through the filling loop until the needle is at around the 10 o'clock position....when the heating is back on the needle should rise towards 11 o'clock but not go into the red.
Make sure the taps are firmly off afterwards!

press the minus button and it will show the pressure in bars, the 5 5 you see is an S 5 code which means the pump and fan are running.

Hi, thanks for that. I pressed it and it showed 1.4bar. Do I need to put more water in or should I leave it? Thank you for telling me that was an s and not a 5. I cannot find any instructions for my boiler so I could not tell. After pressing the minus button I show a temperature of 32 and the boiler is working, with the orange light only showing. Thank you again on this chilly, wet Sunday morning.

I put some more water in turned off firmly now at 1.9 bar and dial about between quarter and ten to.
What would we do without people like you.....
