valiant ecotech 28 pro condensate trap going yellow

Good Afternoon,

I have a valiant ecotech 28 pro, it has a condensate trap which is filled with water....

is that water suppose to be changed regularly? or is it meant to discolour? its gone yellow (not sure if its the water or the trap!)?

Its common for them to get discoloured.

You are not meant to touch it yourself.

An engineer at the annual service would remove it and clean out any dirt !

Thanks Tony,

Saw the bottom of it yesterday and noticed it was yellow compared to clear when it was installed...

Just wanted to check, next service is due in feb so will keep an eye to make sure it doesnt have bits in it till then.

It is designed to accommodate a small amount of debris which does not need any attention until the next service!
