Varlight V-Pro Dimmer - sticking

I’ve had one of these for two years and isn’t used on a regular basis but am having issues. It is sticking when trying to switch on/off. Tried removing the round knob and trying with the spindle underneath. Get the same issues.

Wanted to check if this is a fault that can be fixed or whether it needs to be replaced?

Loosen the nut that holds it to the plate. If it still sticks after that, replacement required.
